The landscape project set out to activate a large underutilized parking lot roof plaza that connected four high-rise apartment buildings. The design considered existing building programming and exterior programming and gave residents and local community a new place to spend time, relax, and socialize. The key to success was the implementation of trees and seating on the roof structure providing much-needed shade to this very exposed location. Games areas were set up along with children's play areas and an alleé of trees on a promenade-style walkway.
